Vehicle was driven back home after a 20 min journey. Switched vehicle off, removed keys, i came back to remove last bag from vehicle - white smoke was coming from under hood. Tried to put out with a small fire extinguisher. Flames now coming from hood and out of front grille. Called 911. Within 20 mins car was a total loss, with damage to adjacent home.
